Jill M. Boorman
PT - Clinical Manager
Jill is originally from Buffalo, New York. She majored in Biology/Athletic Training and played Division 1 Volleyball at Canisius College. She transferred to Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts where she received her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. Jill has been working as a Physical Therapist since 1994. She has worked in a variety of settings from Acute care, Inpatient Rehabilitation, Home Health, and her passion Outpatient.
She has advanced training in the McKenzie and Mulligan techniques. Jill is knowledgeable in manual therapy for both extremities and spine. She also has training in strength and conditioning for sports rehabilitation.
Jill is a runner, cyclist, and swimmer. She played basketball, volleyball, and softball in both high school and college. In 2005, she was the assistant coach for Goose Creek High School’s softball team. She loves animals and has rescued many dogs over the last few years. She enjoys helping them achieve full rehabilitation and finding them good homes. In 2004, Jill went on a medical mission trip with Medical Campus Outreach to Thohoyando, South Africa to supervise Physical Therapy students from the Medical University of South Carolina.
She is a large strapping athletic female that enjoys flexing her muscles. She dances like no ones watching and sings like no ones listening.
Her surgical observations include: lumbar fusion, laminectomy, pain pump, epidurals, Rax cath, total knee and hip replacements, knee and shoulder arthroscopies, rotator cuff repair, ACL reconstruction, and artificial disc replacement. In addition, Jill has seen artificial disc replacements for cervical and lumbar spines, multiple arthroscopic surgeries in knee and shoulder, Rotator Cuff Repair, and Intradiscal electrothermal Annuloplasty (IDET).
Robert Keene
PT Team Leader
Part owner of the Green Bay Packers
Robert joined Premier Physical Therapy in June 2009. He is originally from Milwaukee, WI. He graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He then went on to get his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. He graduated with honors and was named First Honor Graduate of his class in 2009.
Robert enjoys working with the outpatient orthopedic patient population. His future goals include becoming a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and pursuing an Orthopedic Specialization.
Robert is an avid runner and enjoys participating in long distance races. He has finished multiple half marathons and also finished the Walt Disney World Marathon. His other hobbies include reading, doing crossword puzzles, hiking, golfing, playing the guitar, and spending time with his wife, Ashley. He is a huge sports fan - his favorite teams include the South Carolina Gamecocks, Wisconsin Badgers, Milwaukee Brewers, and the Green Bay Packers.

Justin Stauffer
Physical Therapy Assistant
Justin has recently joined Premier Physical Therapy as a Physical Therapy Assistant. Justin was born and raised in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He received his Bachelor's Degree in 2008 from West Chester University and then went on to Harcum College in Bryn Mawr, PA where he received his certification in Physical Therapy.
In 2006 Justin met his wife Kelly and they recently got married in May. He and Kelly love to take their dog Charlie for long walks and they also enjoying running and participating in races. Justin is very physically active and loves to play many different sports such as football, lacrosse, golf, and volleyball. He also enjoys reading, playing guitar, and going to the beach.
Justin is so excited to join the Premier Physical Therapy team and believes it will be very educational and fun! Justin plans on going back to school to either receive his degree as a DPT or in education so that he may teach physical therapy one day. Justin looks forward to his new life in Charleston and is excited at what the future holds!
Dana Coleman
Pysical Therapy Assistant
Dana has been a PTA since 1994. She graduated from Trident Technical College in Charleston. Dana and Jill have worked together off and on since 1994.
Premier has been blessed to have Dana joined our team on a more consistent basis. She is enjoying the flexibility in her schedule and we are enjoying seeing her daily.
Dana has been married to Tony since 1990. They are an amazing couple. Their children are all four-legged: They have four horses and a weimaraner named Duke. Duke thinks he (and probably) is the boss of the house. They love living in the country so they reside in the town of Dorchester, SC. Dana's hobbies are horseback riding, walking, reading, and playing with her dog.
She loves Clemson football…so you can bet she is wearing orange on any given day, especially on Fridays during football.
Dana also loves being social and hanging out with friends. She enjoys life to the fullest and makes the most of every day! Her smile is both beautiful and contagious. You will enjoy her! We do!!!!!
Jennifer Bowman
Business Office
Jennifer joined Premier Physical Therapy in April of 2009. She has been raised in the Carolinas. She received a B.S degree in Human Services at Elon University in North Carolina. In 2008, Jennifer graduated from Charleston Southern University with an MBA.
Jennifer is glad to be a part of the Premier team and help wherever she can. She has worn multiple hats…she played a roles from the billing department to the front office manager to helping with operations in the office. We are blessed to have her!
Jennifer enjoys people and being around them every day. Her greatest joys in life are meeting new people and creating lasting relationships. She enjoys time with her two daughters and her husband. She also enjoys spending time at the beach with family and friends.
Karen Ziobro
Billing Specialist
Karen joined Premier Physical Therapy in August 2011. She was born and raised in Auburn, Massachusetts and recently moved to Summerville, South Carolina. Every now and then, her northern accent will come through. You may hear her say, “there are “cahs” in the “pahking” lot,” or she may want to know where she can get some good New England clam “chowdah” down here in the South.
Karen brings with her 10 years experience in Medical Billing and 12 years experience in all aspects of administration within a large Physical Therapy practice. Karen wants every patient to have a positive experience when they come to our facility.
Karen has been married to her husband Mike for 17 years. They have 2 beautiful daughters, Sarah (12) and Emily (9). She enjoys going to the beach, walking around Charleston, working in her yard and playing with her best buddy, Candy, the family’s 4 year old Chihuahua. Karen has had a wonderful first year in the low country, and she looks forward to learning and experiencing all the South has to offer in the coming years.
Nancy Hartmann

Director of Fun
Nancy Hartmann was born and raised in Summerville, SC. As a recent graduate of Clemson University, she is excited about joining the fabulous staff at Premier Physical Therapy. Nancy promises to be helpful and informative to each patient. She always does her best to help every patient that walks through the door, and loves getting to know them!
Nancy loves living in the low country, and enjoys the beach and being outdoors. Some of her favorite activities include traveling, dancing, karaoke, and college football. She adores her Clemson Tigers, and will pull for every team in the NCAA except for The South Carolina Gamecocks. She loves spending time with her family, and feels lucky that they all live close to her. She strives to be a great friend to everybody she knows, and always wants to have fun! Nancy feels blessed everyday, and wants to live life to the fullest! She one day hopes to retire in the Bahamas.
Brandy Ryan
Insurance Specialist
Brandy Ryan was raised in Spartanburg, SC where cow tipping, muddin’ and the local WalMart are the main attractions! She has been in Charleston for 6 years now and absolutely loves the city. Brandy graduated from Charleston Southern University with a degree in Youth Ministry and Christian Leadership. She works as the Youth Director at a local church. She is always seeking new opportunities to share the love of Christ with everyone and making people laugh!
Brandy loves greeting patients as they come in and serving wherever she can. She strives to make the environment welcoming, warm and just like home for each patient that comes in!
Her favorite season is Fall, especially because of football! (Go Steelers!) Jazz and Bluegrass are her favorite music. Brandy’s favorite place to spend her time is with her husband and daughter. She believes there is nothing more relaxing than a cup of Starbucks and a good book!
Mulinda Joel
International Director of Hugs and Human Relations
Joel is responsible for our customer care. He is here from Uganda to greet you with smiles and hugs.
Mulinda Joel was born and raised in Uganda, East Africa. As a recent graduate, he is excited about joining the awesome staff at Premier Physical Therapy in Charleston, S.C.
He promises to be helpful in building good customer care and relations, as he loves to give a smile and hug to every patient who walks through the door.
Joel enjoys soccer and is an avid Arsenal FC fan. He also enjoys Christian music and being outdoors. He makes friends easily, and it's challenging not to smile when you're around him!

Jake & Marley
Premier Greeters
Occasionally you will be greeted by our Premier Greeters with a friendly tail wag. As soon as the front door opens, they get up and trot over to greet whoever is coming in. Jake was born in 2000. He is white and caramel colored springer spaniel mix. Marley was born in 2001. He is a black cocker spaniel. They are certified therapy dogs and they love their job! They bring great joy to our patients. Feel free to love on or pet them, you will have a friend for life.
