I have struggled with my weight or some time and knew that I couldn't lose the weight by myself, that I needed some kind of assistance. My wife was going to Premier Physical Therapy for an injury and brought home their brochure on the Fluff to Buff - 12 Weeks Tough, Weight Management program. We set up a meeting and decided this may be just the program I needed.
Right from the first appointment the staff made me feel comfortable and their enthusiasm gave me the kick start I needed to start my weight loss. The small environment, scheduled appointments, and staff was the structure I was looking for to get me going. I enjoy going there and working out with them all as they get involved with my routine and change it often to keep it more challenging. Robert, Jill, Dana, and Catherine have a great attitude and make things fun.
The staff is one of the best in motivation and all have high energy which makes you want to work hard. They have great knowledge of weight management and nutritional counseling that got me on the path I needed to take.
Since I started this program I have started to lose weight and have a lot more energy to do the things that I enjoy. My lifestyle has changed and I have learned to eat healthier. My family and I are now very happy and spend a lot more time doing things together outside of the home.
Premier Physical Therapy has definitely helped me out and I would recommend this program to anyone wanting to change their life style.
"Dr McCrosson,
Richard Solmony, PA-C helped me get the water therapy to continue my rehab after right knee replacement.
It has worked wonders for me and given me a new lease on the ability to do things that I could not do.
Robert Keene, DPT, was the therapist assigned to my case at Premier Physical Therapy, 2070 Northbrook Blvd, North Charleston, SC 29406. Mr. Keene helped me progress at a steady rate. His confidence in my abilities had me doing things I did not think possible. He has the attitude and training necessary for someone wiht my physical disabilities to strive to work harder to attain more muscle strength and flexibility.
I am so much stronger now and I feel so much better about being more independent. I start their wellness program in March 2011, to continue pool therapy on my own. Mr. Keene has made sure that I can continue the program as he has given me the skills, confidence, and a program that I can do that will help me become more independent.
The pool at Premier was big enough to get all kinds of different workouts complete.
Again I would like to thank you and your staff for giving me a new knee with no pain now. Also thank you for sending me to the extra physical therapy at Premier to help me gain more independence."
"Ladies and Gentlemen:
I would like to say thank you, for my physical therapy treatment with you. I feel much better from all of the exercises that built my strength back up. I can actually carry in several bags of groceries now, without my arm hurting. I will truly recommend friends or anyone that needs therapy to you.
Everyone acted professional and dressed professional too. They also, have the time to raise awareness for crimes that happen every few minutes to young children, which are kidnapped; sold and never seen again. The manager even collects clothes for the homeless people. The receptionist even put up with me changing my appointments a lot. So, yes, i will recommend this company, for anyone who needs therapy."
"I came to PPT after going to 3 other therapy treatment centers because I never actually got the proper attention related to my specific injuries. I have had both shoulds and my lower back surgically repaired and always felt like I was burdening the previous therapists I had assigned to me.
PPT was a breath of fresh air for me. Their staff are very professional, courteous and friendly.
My therapist would explain what each exercise was for and set goals for me to meet. I was always given my full time for each session. Eventually I was able to do some home exercising with the proper instructions and equipment which has helped tremendously.
PPT offers different aftercare programs which are set up and designed to continue my rehab and still get to come to the same place since its their programs.
I have joined a wellness program which includes any answers I might have questions for and a great temperatur controlled swimming pool.
Overall, PPT is the key to a better life style which leads to a better body physically and emotionally and mentally.
"Dear Ms. Boorman,
Thought I'd make this short and to the point, but any of you at Premier Physical Therapy that "know me" and know that I love to talk, know that a short and to the point letter of appreciation and admiration was not going to happen.
My experience at Premier was nothing short of pure joy, not only to my aching arthritic knees, but to my soul and spirit! YES, not only did Whitney work with me to reduce, swelling, tightness, pain and lack of motion to my old knees, but she lifted my spirits "big time". Jill you have a staff at Premier that should set standards at Hospitals, Clinics, Doctor Offices, Nursing Homes and even Dental offices.
From the moment you call and speak to whoever answers the phone at Premier, the tone is graciously & instantly set. You may be in pain physically, anxious, worried, depressed, however, after entering your facility and seeing the many people that arrive, you also have the opportunity to nourish the soul along with the body, and happily I attest to the fact that Y'ALL cover all the bases at Premier Physical Therapy....you cover the body, mind, soul and spirit and I am forever grateful that our paths crossed for “all of the above" & the tender loving care I received. I thank you with my heart.
Whitney Reed: is a fabulous Therapist. She has a heart of gold, and a way about her that brings great rewards to her patients. She loving, caring, and excellent at her profession, she is an asset to Premier. {I am tempted to adopt her}
Robert Keene: even though I didn't have the pleasure of working with him, EVERYONE has to just love him. I enjoyed watching him while walking "backwards" on the treadmill. He has a gentle quiet spirit, and is very attentive to his patient’s needs. Not to mention he's cute as a button!
Dana Coleman: what a genuinely lovely lady she is. I did work with Dana when Whitney was out on my therapy day, and she is certainly an excellent Therapist as well. I also watched her while rolling around the room “backwards" on a chair, and she is certainly a keeper.
Crystal Reynolds: I didn't get the opportunity to meet, or visit with, but I'm sure she stands the test of high performance that Premier stands for, and will be an asset to all who meet her and that she is able to rehabilitate in her future years with you.
JENNA Clabaugh: well, you talk about not only a pretty young lady, but sweet as biscuits and honey on a Sunday morning! She is so efficient at her job, and always warmly welcomes everyone as soon as you walk through the door! And, she can give away great "hugs" and lift the spirits of anyone that is lucky enough to cross her path. Jill you hired the right lady for that job!
I want to applaud you again Jill, for running a service that I witnessed -so many greatly need to make their lives "livable" and you do just that, but you and the Staff you hired also have a rare opportunity to BLESS the lives of everyone that walks into your building, and you do that. THANK YOU for blessing my life with your friendships. I still have adoption papers in order and will file them in a minute whenever I think Whitney, Dana, JENNA, Robert or anyone in the office need a 2nd MOM or just a "HUG". God gave us those to give away, they are free, and touch the lives of many people, including me.
In this great big world, you, make a difference. I'm so thankful that one of the many lives you've touched was mine. I pray God multiplies back to you the blessings you give away every day.
In closing, there are lots of people who cross my path every day. There are so many things that go by unnoticed. Especially those that work diligently on behalf of your patients, that we don't always see or get to speak with, like Ms. Shannon, Ms. Barbara, Ms. Jennifer ... But each of you are the type of people who always bring a "special moment" into the lives of so many, just by "taking the time to show you care". These are the moments I will never forget.
THANK YOU for being who you are, for sharing your "profession" of Physical Therapy with all of us that cross through your doors, in a way that makes this world a little brighter. I actually "looked forward" to the days I was coming in, not only because my knees felt better, but I always knew I would be spending time with some pretty special people.
KINDNESS in words creates confidence. KINDNESS in thinking creates profoundness. KINDNESS in giving creates love. Your kindness is appreciated more than words can say. Thank you.
LOVE YOU ALL, and miss you already.
I'll be back; I have some "hugs" to drop off!
"The staff at Premier Physical Therapy provided a caring shoulder to lean on and sound advice to follow prior to and following my ACL reconstruction surgery.
I was able to regain 100% mobility and return to unrestricted athletic competition by following the rehabilitation plan my therapists established for me.
I would recommend Premier Physical Therapy to anyone who needs courteous professional help through all phases of their rehabilitation."
"I went to Premier Physical Therapy after throwing out my back for the first time in my life. With a great deal patience and care, they checked me to make sure nothing serious was wrong with my back and gave me a series of exercises and stretches to get me back to normal.
In the weeks afterward, I was astounded when I received phone calls from Premier's staff making sure I was doing OK and asking if I had any more questions. I didn't feel like the person on the other line was just "doing her job" or following protocol, I felt like she really cared.
In the year since I had my back problem, I haven't had any issues with my back and continue to incorporate those same exercises and stretches in my weekly routine.
I feel confident in saying that if you are injured and visit Premier -- and follow their instructions -- you too will be on the road to recovery as soon as possible."
"I have had to go to Premier Physical Therapy a couple of times. I was apprehensicve when my Dr. said I needed therapy to help my knee. I have had 12 visits and when they were over I felt wonderful. No more pain.
It is all about the patient. All about making you feel better. I had exercises to do and they gave me things to do at home that really helped my progress.
I have never had faith in any kind of therapy but after going to Premier Physical Therapy and meeting Jill and Dawson I feel that I got the best possible care I could have received and have made some good friends in the process.
The care I received was wonderful and I recommend it to anyone who needs physical therapy."
